Hi everybody!
I was into hardcore/rave from 94-96 and lost interest in HC a bit after that and focused more on hardtrance, but that kinda died after a while, too.
Didn't really follow the hardcore development when the tracks became too cheesy (that means: lots of high-pitched female vocals to me;))

So I didn't find any new tracks that really got me going for quite a while, until I came across CLSM - Hardstyle? (<---which is totally NOT hardstlye imo) and later Bonkers 13. On this compilation,

I REALLY dig the following tracks:
Endymion - Rock The Part-E
Dj Nosferatu - Have It Your Way
Scott Brown - Don't **** With This

now what I would like are some recommendations of tracks, labels and artists with sound similar to those. I'm looking for hard, energetic, fast, mindblowing tracks, but most importantly they need to have melodic parts as the examples do. They CAN have distorted bass like Endymion/Nosferatu or straight bass like CLSM, I don't care but I want them banging and melodic WITHOUT female vocals as in "Insight - Only Your Love (Scott Brown Remix)"

any feedback would greatly be appreciated!
thx! :D

Try anything by Neophyte. Two tracks comes to mind, Hardcore Will Survive and Army of Hardcore.

Also any Hard NRG will be right up your alley. I know they can be too mainstream, and some of their CDs can really blow, but Ministry of Sound's Hard NRG CDs really rock. MoS Hard NRG Vol. 5 is one of my all time favourite CDs.

Well he's still very heavy, but he's got more of that melodic sound you mentioned these days. In my opinion anyhow; a lot of my raver friends don't like him because they think he's all distorted bass and screaming, so you might not like it.

all distorted bass and screaming can be fine! I haven't found any pre-listening tracks by him in the record-shops yet, only "The Playah - F**k the Fame" on Neophyte records, and that's lovely ;)
