From what I gather, most people don't seem to like flip & fill much. Why?

What are your reasons for liking/hating flip & fill? Do they just make 'bad music' or is there more to it? I'm seriously puzzled by this, they don't seem too bad to me, or am I missing something? If so what?

I think the main reason people don't like 'em is becaause they take classic hardcore tunes that many people love (pretty green eyes, discoland ect.) and absolutely murder them, turning them into crappy, horrible, commercial, top of the pops shite, there is another thread on this topic you could look for, sure someone will know which one. I think you can guess I don't like F+F.

Because they have made covers from Hardcore "classics". Their actual talent doesnt matter. Because a producer becomes automatically shit, if s/he makes a cover of a "classic" Hardcore tune. But remember this doesnt work the other way around, if e.g. Scott Brown does a "cover" of an eurotrance tune, he doesnt become shit. I dont know why though :p

Well durrrrrr isn't that obvious..... Flip n Fill LICENCE their COVERS whereas hardcore tends to SAMPLE willy nilly WITHOUT ASKING (with the exception of a few )...... sampling illegally is good, whereas asking permission and paying people for their hard work is baaaaad

Funny how people don't like slowed down hardcore but love speeded up trance!

Arguably one of the best

flip and fill have murdered some of the uk hardcore classics so that when people here discoland or heart of gold they wouldnt credit hixxy or force and styles as the original producers, they credit flip and fill for turning it into handbag hardcore............great!

hardcore you know the score
