Right im getting seriously pissed off with my computer being infected with all kinds of shit. I have a firewall, virus scan and a spybot search and destroy for spyware yet i still keep gettin ****in porn and strip poker pop ups and messages from windows sayin iv got spyware on my computer yet the spybot does **** all. What the hell is going on?

Its free for non-commercial use. and pretty much the best.

i had my windows hijacked by spyware.. putting porn links all over my desktop, start menu, etc..

i used the system restore to restore my copmuter to a week earlier, that did the trick nicely :)

I dont think there is, just maybe if you install something you want. You'll just have to reinstall it.

My friends computer got completly hijacked and almost destroyed his hard drive.

I had a nasty Browser Hi-jack not so long ago, the spyware that hi-jacked me put an add on my dt saying it was the one to remove it!! Cheeky B******s. I think i went to Trend Micro, has a free online virus scan to get rid of those unwanted pests (no offence Virus m8

). They have a really good online tutorial to get rid of Trojan's, Spyware ect.

it doesnt change any files you have recently edited they will all be up to date

it undoes any installations or uninstalls you've done though.

One of my best friends is male and of course a young male and internet 9/10 leads to porn he must of downloaded something and i got all these porn pop ups everywhere disconecting me from the internet everytime i logged on trying to use my line to connect to there premium line - which was not funny - i got adweare and that pretty much sorted it i do a scan every week and havnt had 2 many problems *touch wood* and the amount of people that dont belive me on the "male friend" part - trust me its true!! xxxx

1: do a google search for HijackThis. That will remove browser hijacks from IE.
2: Switch to Mozilla Firefox
3: Linux. Honestly.

Yeah Hijack this is a quality program, also, i used CleanMyPc - Registry Cleaner. You can stop programs starting when you turn your comp on, so you can delete them (if yr gettin acsess denied when tryin to delete the files).

There are popup windows launched from websites that look like windows error messages... they are fake, they are their to trick you into pressing them and buying some shitty software...

If you run Spybot and AdAware and keep them upto date you should be good to go.
