lol
why would u want it to be popular in the us? it would only make it sooo wack. imagine them playing it on mtv and all over ipod commercials.
and then some dumbass see's it and says he likes hardcore also. and then it explodes and then its used up.
the worst thing in the world that could happen is hardcore emerging from the underground and going mainstream in the us.
this is my nightmare

this is what makes us uniqe from everyone else. why would u want others to be like u?
usa will tear hardcore apart just like it does with everything else that blows up.

umm phusion records is a store not a label =P
tron is ok, I'm much more of a delta 9 man myself (hardcore chicago you p*ssy m*therf*ckers )
hardcore will never go popular here due to 1) it's too fast & 2) most people don't get it.

Happy Hardcore Is Every Where Its Just Not Well Known Because There Aren't Enough Of Us To Make It Trully Recognisable.
But Stop And Think.... If We Make It Big, More Will Like (plus) But If It Becomes Mainstream Then We Lose The Individualism To It. (minus)
More DJs' Start Using It And Playing It But Not To The Likes Of The Bonkers Boys etc... Hence HH Becomes Commercial And Shit!
I Dont Know About You Guys But I Never Want That To Happen!.

Tron rocks, as does Delta 9... I was just listening to Disco Inferno last night... then I couldn't sleep. Go figure. LOL!!! My favorite hardkore head in Cali always said: "sleep is time, time is money, money is power... why sleep?" He never did make any money though.
Icex: If you are in L.A. then I don't know what you are complaining about. It is just as easy to find hardcore events in Los Angeles as it is in Netherlands (alright, easier than Amsterdam, not as easy as in Rotterdam), probably not as easy as in the UK, and easier than in most other European countries. Especially these days. True, I'm not much into the newstyle shiz they are spinning these days, but there are definitely some HHC djs in L.A. that know what's up, and if Tron was there last weekend, all is not lost!
Wish I was up there to rock it for Christmas. Down here it's all Psy-Trance bullsh!t :(

Between 88-90 Acid/Rave partys were propa underground in the UK people would meet up on motorways (highways) then convoy to a field n set up or people would put all their money together and hire out a warehouse then tell there friends to tell there friends n so on.
90-92 Rave became massive, The Germans were propa largin it as well as the dutch, Scotland had Hanger 13 n hundreds more The Fubar being the central club. Then sh*t started to hit the fan wif numptys droppin to much pills n dying n the govenment not likin it then banning it allmost completly from live radio, hanger 13 shut, it kinda started to become fashion if u get my meaning kinda mainstream. With promoters making silly money
Present day I believe the people that are now still in the scene are there for the love of it and not just purely for the money, as for partys they are now mostly only to 2am!?!?!? instead of the old 8pm till 8pm which is a bit sh*tty but u can still find em if u search hard enough, Scotland seems the place for decent PA's n dj's , found a few gud ones here in the north but keep losing out due to work.
Basically Rave has gone back to its roots - The Underground but i beleive itl rise again soon

whatever happened to the so-cal scene?
I remember when I lived there(96-99) hardcore was gettin bigger by the minute.
Paulina Taylor,Cloudskipper,Lost Boy,Mindcontroller...
That was way more of a scene than I've ever experienced down here in Colombia.
