I thought Hardcore was trying to loose its childish look as the sound has. Makes me wonder what some people are thinking when they make an album. I think the John Peel idea is great. Loose the cartoons though, honestly the musics to good for it.

Alot of stores actually wanted the old cartoon style back on bonkers because they said it sold better and people knew the old classic look more than the newish one.

i think the idea of having cartoonie drawings is cool as it catches the eye of people walking by. when you go to the store, there are so many cd's there, that unless you are going to buy 1 certain thing, you may never see anything else. rock on with the cartoons! hardcore is getting far too serious now adays anyway. something about it other than the parties that it is played at should be fun, why not the artwork. anyway.

If it werent for the cartoons i wouldnt of discovered hardcore when i was a wee nipper.
First bonkers, the frist CD i ever bought just coz it had some crazy art on it.
Lovin the toons, lovin it.
As for your joke idea B.C. - lovin that too. think that would be sweet. Get a bit of peruvian pan pipe melodies in the mixes. Sweet as! :D

I must say i agree that the cartoons did attract when you are at a young age though the music has evolved quite a lot since the early day (for the better if you ask me) and i think if the cds are going to include several female vocals, why not a sexy hottie [:P]
Either that or sometime of the same sort of style as the Happyhardcore.com Logo for the cover.

Is this the start of numerous annoying bonkers 14 topics? I really hope not.

john peel was the man, defintively, dedicating some mix to him would be a good idea.

They should dedicate the album to him, or at least a mix on it.
I don't know about the theme tho - how would a John Peel theme look? The only things that come into my head when I think about John Peel are himself sitting in a small Radio 1 studio playing obscure tracks or him walking around in the mud at Glastonbury - I'm finding it hard to see how those two things could be turned into a bonkers theme!
