its funny how everyone can sit here and talk about how hardcore is always being ridiculed and that everyone should just learn to accpect and appreciate the music, but when gabber comes up my hypocritc meter goes up to 10 f**k thats out of 10.
how can you say one form of hardcore is acceptable and one is only useful for the decapitation of our fellow zombie brethren

yes, you know, the pattern of drums, kicks hi-hats, snares and synths. It's tere , you know.
After seven years of worshipping that stuff I can f*cking tap the rythm of the claps 'n hi-hats of most tunes on a desk with my fingers.

Yeah, sorry but I just can't help it when ppl bitch about a style I have been dedicated to for so long. Here I am in a country where happycore and freeform are dead styles trying to tell ppl that they're not pussymusic and kiddytunes, preaching tolerance and a bit of plur and then you get this shit all over ya. Sorry but that just made me lose it a bit.

@ Nick_12: props 2 u man

Ok.............Freeform , Happycore but gabba! , alotta ppl hate on gabba andf this is da typical profile for gabba haters, u r in2 mainstream hardcore, regularly buy bonkers.etc (don't get me wrong i luv bonkers!) you listen 2 scott brown/hixxy/dougal and get used 2 thier style, then u put sharkeys cd on an go in2 a sulk and coz most of da major gabba artists are on thier (V.A.G.A.B.O.N.D, CLSM.etc) da h8 spreads, firstly most of sharkeys cd.s. r drum and bass which is kind of a form of gabba and 2ndly if u bin listenin 2 bonkers all day and u don't wanna listen 2 a nu sound ur narrow minded, da gabba at the end of most scott brown cd's rock i.e. Bonkers 13 - no.11 & 12, Bonkers 12 - Num. 12 if mainstreams ya fing.........phew

I dont understand this. SOOO many ppl in the world are always slaggin off hardcore, and all every1 eva seems to bitch about is tht. and here every1 is doin the same to specific threads of hardcore. gabber is stompin. There aint nuffin like coming bak home after a lame shift at work and kikin the ass outt my dexx and gabber is the best thing for tht. every1 sayingthey get headaches n stuff of it, Aw u poor souls(what the hell do u do in your spare time origami?). what the hardcore scene needs is more ppl listening to it and realising how good it is. not a load of ravers slagging of bits of it they cant handle.

If you ask me, the peak of any rave/party is gabber, the entire crowd just going for it without a care in the world, the only moment that matters is now. So many hypocrits on this forum who post saying '...this person said hardcore is old fashioned and for kids...' and in the next post slagging gabber down.

If you don't like it don't f**king listen to it, is it really such a hard concept to grasp?

Get yaself over to holland ravin you'll how a party should be with bangin beats and wkd stageshows. Their gabba scene is soo much bigger than the happy scene over here its untrue and if you actually give it a chance you'll find theirs a lot more to the music than kickdrums. Monkeys got it spot on people slaggin gabba are jus the same as people who say uk hardcores all boom boom, it's so ignorant and wrong it's pathetic jus cos you've not even tried to get your brain round it. Fair play if you dont like somethin you dont like it but it's the amount of people that dont give things a chance makina and breakbeats just the same, your cuttin yourself off from some very good music. I'm not particularly into the freeform sound and dont follow it much, but theres many wkd dj's that do and can educate me to a good set with it i'l really enjoy. Fair play to knightmare aswell for fightin the corner of uk and happy stuff to the gabbers cos a lot of them are just as small minded as people in our scene and think of it all as gay ultrahappy kids music. I love the fact i appreciate the lot and couldnt have it any other way.

Venga familia!!!

Each to their own, if you like Gabba thats great.. But one thing that is very bad about some Gabba Fans, now i"m not saying all.. Its a small number I'm sure.. Is how some of it promotes racism.. No matter what you say, skinhead gabbers who believe in Hitlers ideals are wrong!! Everyone has a right to party;) Otherwise, a rave is'nt a rave without gabber.. Its essential to a rave party cause i know it has a massive cult following and loads of my mates like it..

the numbers are larger than you think, these wp-gabbers f*ck it up for gabbers like me (I'm socialist myself). Some have tried to fight it but it's useless. So now the majority of gabbers around here are fascists and the rest of us is sorta screwed. They ain't all fullblown nazi's but some think they are and those dumb f*cks are usually the ones screwing up a party with their hitlergreets and shit... at least when this is spotted they are removed from the premisses :)
larger organisations don't take that kinda crap :p and I'm glad they don't

tbh ive actually just really got into gabba the last few weeks. i played a cd i made of sum tunes from bonkers 12 and 13 (boomstick, the prophecy unfolds, punchdrunk, dont **** with this etc) to my best mate, who is into rock and acoustic stuff, and she loved it and imo i think it creates a stompin atmosphere. defo havin sum of that at my next house party, that'll get ppl up!
gabba is great, i like the way producers hv now started bringin melody into the sound like vagabond (punchdrunk) and endymion (rock the part-e)
wicked stuff!
