gabber is proper hardcore that hasnt been kiddified, anywhere in Europe outside England they wouldnt call that cheesy stuff hardcore.
Anyway heres a short video of a hardcore rave in Holland 35,000 capacity two arena event arena 1 nu style hardcore arena 2 speedcore.

I like the gabber that is slower than makina but faster than hardcore. Faster than makina, and I get a headache :P

i dont like gabba. never experienced it in a rave tho. my opinion may be changed when i do, but 4 now i dont like it

1.Question how many people who said they hated gabber have been to a event and stayed and listened to it there.
Went to a gabber event once was Helter Skelter back in 96 trying to think of name of event errrrrrrm Technodrome a journey of epic proportion.This was massive you had H.M.S. , Music Maker , Scorpio , Dj Producer , Bass Generator and a few others.I was totally blown away great night 1 of the best i have ever been to and the Bass Generator set was out of this world.Anyway there is a big difference in listening to gabber in your car or house even gives me a sore head then but when you are at the event and the music grabs hold of you its blinding.

I listen to gabber when I am going to sleep 
Gabber is like the fast version of hardcore... although I love hhc most. So listen to it if you like it, or listen to it because u just dont wanna listen to the bullsh*t in the radio "normal" perople listen to
