I always get this feeling when I listen to Phriques happy hardcore mix he posted here 2 weeks ago. After ten minutes there is a very cool melody and some voices, that sounds like japanese, but its so genius I always get this strong feeling of loving happy hardcore to death!

------------------
I love Happy Hardcore! But lots of people don't understand it... I feel sorry for them that they miss best music genre in da world.

i have had a few like that and they generally tend to phase out after a while to another tune, the last ones that made me get hyper that i remember went in this order:

ham - jump 2 da groove
ufo - flyin' high
f&s - make believe
sb - neckbreaker
ham - here i am 2005

'Emotions touched, With feelings running high, It seems right, No need to run and hide'

The old tunes do something to me at a club....
When I hear all the new tunes..I'm "Yea...this is HARDCORE!!!"

But when the old stuff comes on...it's more "This is what it's ALL about!!!"

Been like that for 10 years now haha....
Guess i'll always be an old skool fanatic!!

A friend of mine asked me if I would like to go to a rave with her "Mindcontroller", it was free when you where registered by e-mail. I didn't like hardcore at all, except for the Happy Hardcore. I thought what the hell it's free and the next time when someone askes me to go to a rave I can sincerelly say that I don't like it. Turns out I loved it and have been going to raves ever since haha. So you never know unless you try.

My first gig really opened my eyes to hardcore. I loved it up till then but when I saw all the people dancing there asses off, it really made me just think about how much i loved hardcore.

Ultrasonic was what got me into hardcore. They had a mad show at eclipse which was there best performance in Australia. I must say i dig the oldskool a bit more. The last set that i went off to was Brisk's set he did out here at Godspeed, it was awesome. One of my first hardcore tapes was Scott Brown where he MC's as well, bounced around to that one as well.

" Hardcore is a feeling, not a fashion" DJ Scott Brown

Jack and Jill went up the hill, both with a buck and a quater. Jill came down with two fifty, that fu**en whore.
