Hardcore Heaven presented a sophisticated image; Bonkers was more fun. I can't choose!
Unfortunately, they are both no longer with us. Maybe a new Hardcore album series will appear in the future.

*A BLAST FROM THE PAST!*
What does everyone think then?
@ the time this thread was started I would have said Bonkers was king but when you compare them over the past 9 years, since this thread was posted, I would have to say the Hardcore Heaven albums were leading the way. Up until they stopped the series that is. I'm pretty certain we'll see more again soon though.
What's everyone's thoughts then?

i think i would have to say bonkers for the same reason...i remember that down time when there wasnt a bonkers for ages..and i thought it was gone for good...and then oneday i walked into a store and there was Bonkers 7!!!! i almost crapped myself hehehe
i do love the original hardcore heaven CDs though - i remember back in 1999 when i saw the TV advert for Hardcore Heaven Vol 5.. was great to see hardcore advertised on tv - not so uncommon nowadays though eh? :)
*edit* actually, its not for entirely the same reasons, i love the hardcore showcase on all the bonkers...well, apart from 11, I think to me, that came out at almost exactly the same time as a whole load of other hardcore compilations that were all over the shops here in the UK and all of it sounded pretty much similar...sound familiar? lol

great feedback on this! I like to dig up a few old skool threads now & again & bring the topic back to life. Especially topics like this because it just shows how big Hardcore is again.
A lot of those 2001 threads we're claiming that hardcore was on its deathbed & how much they loved the good ole days, well, look @ it now!
IMO, Bonkers 94-2000, Hardcore Heaven 2000++
