I heard a rumour that Helter Skelter are not going to be doing anymore hardcore at there raves. That they are just concentrating on D&B. But then I heard the other day that they have a big hardcore event planned for sometime mid next year. hhhhhhhhmmmmm?????

Mee too as I have yet to go to a HS. I really wanted to go to 1 of the 1s that were on this year at the Bowlers but could't travel all that way own my own and go on my nod so i misses out bigtime.
Now Bowlers has been closed down.
Maybe 1 day it will open. If it does I will be first in the queue

i was gonna go to it last year coz it's near me,i wasn't old enough though :( as long as i got some cash and they play hardcore next time round i'll be there

unfortunately the Skelter web site isnt up too much and is only up 2 date if they are advertising there next event but indeed it does look like skelter plans for future are cemented firmly in their alliance with club sidewinder...lets hope they n the guys from compulsion get talking again soon;)Rizla u cud try emailing them.....the addy is on the web page

I was at the LAST Helter Skelter @ Bowlers, (was anyone else there ?)
and all the talk, of no more hardcore was rife, but the spokesman for Helter Skelter said it was the management of Bowlers that didnt want anymore hardcore events held there, but he did PROMISE helter skelter would never stop the hardcore, all they needed was a new venue !!!!

they started selling aload of back catalogue tape packs on da web site..loadsa good ones:)........going rite back 2 bst of both worlds and sum older videos i think......Helter Skelte rbets b hardcore coz for a lot of people helter skelter was teh definition of a rave..........And it sounded liek da wickedest place 2 b :)

i know what u mean helter skelter was the definition of a rave
and i remember when my cousin came back from a helter skelter rave he wouldnt shut up saying how wikkid it was and all the wikkid people he met

2000 wasn't the last ever helter skelter like they said it would be its bolloxs there was 1 on 4/8/2001 energy 2001 hhhc/trance there's a tape pack on the website plus the awakening 2001 12 tape pack
were is it being held now?? have they got a new venue?

the story so far......
Helter Skelter launched their LAST EVER event on New Years Eve 1999 - 2000. BUT at the end of the event Dave Pratley came on stage and sed "we will see you when we've had a rest".......
24th Feb 2001. Helter Skelter Re-Launch at Bowlers, Manchester. big turn out, massive success, also in march 2001, skelter launch their legendary Drum n Bass parties at The Sanctuary Lesuire Complex, Milton Keynes.
they have continued to put on dnb events in milton keynes but because of the closure of Bowlers the hardcore events were no more. Skelter have been bombed with calls, letters and emails asking when the next hardcore event is on and where......but to the dissapointment of all the uk ravers, nothing has been mentioned.
COME ON HELTER SKELTER, WHERES THE ****ING HARDCORE!!!!

I spoke to Dave Prattley (Skelter owner) and he said that he is thinking about starting up a new arena at their events. its only on the drawing board at present but I rekon he's planning a hardcore comeback because he knows how big its become over the past year! I really cant wait!!!
