I'm picking up a copy of it soon, for PC, X-box is like the only console i dont own :/ no point in geting one as xbox2 is a pre-christmas launch :)

unreal tournament is so good cos of all the mods for it, there are hundreds of gameplay mods even changing the game pretty much completely into something that has no resemblance to the original

UT 2004 is beautiful good, a major upgrade from 2k3
Onslaught is perhaps THE most awesome game mode ever thought of. Probably the best addition to 2004
Death match is to me the most fast paced, adrenaline rush multiplayer experience you can get. My personal preference is for the servers that up the game speed.. from fast to eye-bleeding speed
if you like twitch style shooting games UT 2k4 is the way to go, definitely
and it never hurts to have good graphics too :)

I saw when a friend of mine played it, but I say Im quite disappointed of what I saw...
I'd rather stick to Half-Life 2 
oh and UT2004 is a blast! best deathmatch and assault (and onslaught) experience ever
