omg i just got mine in the mail today and i have to say this has been the pro djs secret weapon 4 to long, these things are the easiest things to beat match with and mix with period.

it took me about 3 min to relize how to mix with them and i was mixing real good.

it sure doesnt feel like vinyl at all, it just feels so fake.

the cdj-200's are quality and greet value for money. If your mixing hardcore there is no real need for anything better

i think he meant he wishes he could turn it off coz it feels like cheating being able to see the bpm.

LOL, a DJ is supposed to mix. The main thing for DJ is to make a good mix. The tools the DJ uses to make that good mix are not important. As the listeners only hear and care about the music. I mean what next, office workers shouldnt use PC's cause thats "cheating"? :p

yesterday at GC i used the stanton C304's they are awsome - they do everything the CDJ200's do...

...plus you can scratch, sample, and set 4 cue points

and its the same price as the CDJ200's

the platter on it has some weight behind it, so think of it like scratching with a "heavier" piece of vinyl, it just takes a bit of getting used to.

i dunno that screen is a lil small, kinda weird lookin. but yea 1 cue point is ok but i wish it had 2.

i think i would still get the cdj over the stanton based on looks, color, and brand.

the cdj is just fine. yay i cant stop mixing yesterday i mixed for like 5 hours cause i have so many single makina mp3's.

all i wanna do is mix at 190 non stop( never mixed at that speed before highest i ever tried was like 184). cdjs is the best thing ever yay yay yay

ps the buttons on the cdj are awesom all u have to do is put a lil pressure on it and thats it.

The pioneer 200s are nothing special. There are so many cd decks out there now that have a scratch function that i dont understand why anybody would get one that doesnt.

Denon, stanton, numark, all do good cd decks for no more with better features. If your gonna get pioneer then get the 800s. they are quality ;)

yeah, cdj800's are great value for money. They have all the important functionality of the CDJ1000's at half the price!
