Just felt I had to post this.
Right, I'm just in from work.
On my way back...a car passed by and I noticed the driver take a long stare towards me then slow down. I paid no attention and walked on.
I came to a roundabout, and the same car was at the junction, stopped. (There was no other traffic around). I walked past becoming more aware of what could happen.
As I crossed the road, the car headed off in another direction before suddenly slowing down...I watched for a while then lost sight of the car.
I continued walking on what was almost the final stretch of road to my house, only to have the car pass by, slow down and turn into a side road.
I walked to the 24hr shop and stayed a while. On walking on...The car slowly pulled out of the side road and just sat parked as I walked towards it (On other side of the road.).
Becoming properly nervous and fully aware of where the car was, I walked past preparing myself for anything.
As I past the car, It slowly passed me and the Driver, again, was taking a long look and proceeded to stare over his shoulder as he went past. At this point, he pulled in again at a pub across the junction where my house is at. I also noticed he had his car facing out towards the road again.
On seeing this, I took a slight de-tour which led back onto the main road.
As I turned onto the path which led onto the main road, I heard the car slowly turn in onto the road behind me.
At this point, I legged it far enough to get to my house before I was spotted. I looked around cautiously to see if i'd been spotted only to see the same car (through trees surrounding the area I live in) drive by again at a more normal speed and drive away.
What have things come to when we get intimidated by complete ******* strangers and it's now unsafe to walk home!?! It's a f*cking joke!!
I'm sitting here now with a range of emotions. I'm still a bit shaken by what happened but now i'm properly angry that there are some ***** out there that pry on random people. If i'd been a girl...It could have been a very different story.
I heard stories once that in 'days-gone-by', people that went out to dances were safe to walk home alone, there was no real danger. People often left their homes open.
Now, there's the danger of being beaten, robbed for your mobile or any cash you have, raped, kidnapped and even murdered....all for no reason. It's a f*cking disgrace!!!
Sorry for the rant there but I just had to say something!!

best thing to do is get his tag number and call the cops file a report so at least if anything happens in the future they know where to start looking.

not tht im saying u dnt feel intimidated now.............i no how ya feel mate iv had similar incidents before its horrible and can mess with your head............i hope ur ok anyway.

Get some right cocks about tryin to cause it wi people they dont even no, well in for gettin yourself safe mate defo not what you need comin home from work. Only advice i can give is dont let it scare you into going out and stuff it's a mad world at times but hidin aways never the answer.
Similar thing happened to me a couple year back i absolutely shat myself and ran from a car that had been followin me for ages, turned out to be undercover cops cos i answered a description of somebody they were after.
Was a pain in arse cos once they'd caught up wi me started givin me loadsa shit for runnin away, i was like what the f**k do you expect me to do car fulla strangers followin me about. Anyhow all got sorted when they realised i wasnt who they were lookin for but does make you paranoid.
Anyway mate you done the right thing runnin to your house, anybody that says all these people are pussies when you stand up to them are fulla shit and obviously never grew up in a mad area. Defo is a lotta evil people about who are capable of sick things but also a lotta really good people so best not to focus on the bad all the time.

same happened to me and a couple of mats except the ****ers got out, 7 of them in two cars and beat us pretty badly a year or so ago, had us shaken up for a while, my mates however came off worse than me which made me feel really bad

Im tellin ya its a fcukin outrage! so many people are after my blood near where i live that i can't even walk to my girlfriends house which is just a few streets away or else i will get jumped! all this over some girl and its been going on for nearly half a year now. yeh there was a time when it was safe to walk the steets, there WAS!

I know what the car was and a vague description of what he looked like...(avoided eye contact!)
Not gonna let it stop me doin anything though, just gonna be more aware when i'm out and about.
He never seen where I live so think it's ok...It was totally unexpected!
Someone said to me, "Why didn't I just walk on??" Stupid.
Anyway, If anything shall happen to me again with this type of thing...the same person in particular...I will do everything within my power to ensure he never walks again!
I felt properly angry because I was bein properly intimidated by someone I don't even know or have met...things like that just shouldn't happen.
