Can they ever mix?
I've heard a lot of pianos in hardcore, and I know that good latin music works with *almost* the same rhythms of hardcore piano lines.
Could the two ever cross paths?

it could but I'd hate it.
the vibes of the two genres don't relly mix as well as the tempo might.

It'd be interesting to hear..... not sure how it would work though as Latin grooves tend to have a very loose feel to them, whereas hardcore tends to be tighter. Might work well during a breakdown or something though.

Well, they are conflicting styles.
I wonder if anything latin (or ethnic for that matter) could mix with hardcore.
I know you cant do Jazz & Hardcore.....

I think you could use the bassline to make a funky hardcore track like Ham's Jump to the groove.
it's all hardcore.
