Hey thought id give this topic a go , no idea if it has been done already but here goes:

Raves are an ever-more growing scene which have become xtremely popular
over the past few years, jus wonderin if i cud get any opinions on what use think have helped raves to grow so much & become more known than back in 98-99 when some people considered the scene as being 'dead'?

Hardcore is da sound that's why we're underground

I think its because hardcore is gettin that bit more commercialised
thus attracting more attention
u decide if that's a good thing or not

Its a more "respectable" form of hardcore that we hear today. A few years ago it was still seen as chipmunk vocals n rapid pianos. Many people who were into hard dance and hard trance have now defected to hardcore as todays sound is the perfect combination of the 2, fact!

When the door bell goes, why do dogs always think its for them??

yeh agreed. i think the bonkers series have also helped alot to get through to people who wouldnt normally listen to rave type music.

Definately think that production quality and the change in style has played a large part of it maybe some people are looking for an alternative to the the crappy night life that seems to be everywhere that there is a club/pub, immature twats smashing things and fighting etc?

This is a good point, this last thing I want to be doing after six hours of dancing to the most euphoric music n the world is rolling about the streets with a bunch of chavs, usually, i just lite a spliff and lie down for a day with a huge grin

More and more ppl I speak to are prefering this to going out, getting pished/fighting/locked up for the nite

Bring on the Summer
