Thats terrible i only met the lad once a few weeks ago in london he played a wkd gabba set. Cant say i had pleasure to get to no him but seemed a right good natured lad up for a party, way ravers should be.
Will be in touch with alex in next few days hope all his friends and family can get through this as best they can.

Many thanks for all your lovely comments. Cheda's family are very gratful for all the support as well.
but as a personal message from myself....
I have so many thoughts running through my head and how I have lost one of my best mates in the world. Cheda was a top gezza who was always helpful, kind and funny. All I have is happy memories of me and him in his “shed”. All our late night gabba sessions till 1am on a Wednesday night and since that started getting the first neighbour’s complaints after 3 years lol. The 4 hour B2B sessions we did on a Friday night sometimes until 1 of us passed out. The long trip to “Hi Skool” where Cheda passed out after drinkin 14 cans of Red Stripe and piss in the middle of the car park while cars going past All happy and funny times I had with him.
This message is just to say….Cheda we will never forget you and you will always be in our hearts. Cheda a true legend of a DJ and a best mate
Im sure your spinning hard dutch gabba as we speak in the heavens above, blowing everyone’s ears off with the “Brain Ache” tune.
