A few years back there was a big album released called The world of Drum & Bass which had a selection of tunes that were either from or based upon various countries across the globe. (if you haven't heard it yet, you have to check out Atom 1's "Imminent" - fookin' amazing tune).
In your opinion, could there ever be a world of hardcore album? By that I mean that the tracks actually came from a certain country and not based upon them. More importantly, would you consider purchasing such an album?

Holland

Spain
Finland
Does anyone know of any tunes that have come from other countries?

I got a CD called the world of hardcore and gabber, and another one called the world of gabber...
Not my normal type of tunes that id jus whack on but i reckon a world of hardcore CD with up-to-date global tunes on would be phat!

I cant think of any other tunes from other countries but what a can say is dat id defo purchase a "world of hardcore" cd if it came out

if gabber/darkcore counts then:
sweden : Despairful tomorrow - and hell followed
norway: Petrochemical - netherworld
croatia: Phobos - The moon
italy: tommyknocker - battle with the mind

for russia u should check the orbital station website but from the rest I all know some hardcoreheads.

I hope that someone important in the music business comes across this thread and goes for the idea. I know I'd certainly buy it because it would be refreshing to hear hardcore from other parts of the globe.

hardcore is worldwide, I don't see why ur surprised. Just like ppl hardcore comes from every place on the globe in all shapes and colours :)

Fair dues. Maybe it's just me being narrow minded but I thought that it was produced in a very limited number of countries. Hey! I'm happy to be proven wrong!
