Easy peeps,
Just got our 1st mix online!!! Wahay!!

its a bit old now, been tryin to get a decent host for ages so thanx to essential session radio for the slot.
any comments/critisism would be well appreciated altho i antisipate most of them will refer to large ammount of mc'in, by my own admition there is too much, regardless i hope you enjoy the mix and let us know what ya think.

I liked the track selection but not the best. and the djing was good to but you need to add more different transitions in the mix. Was the decks at 0 pitch the whole time? seemed it. Speed it up! Make the ravers dance faster! Now the MC is a different story. The MC had a nice voice when he wasn't mumbling or Mcing over the words to the song. When he did that he made him sound shitty. overall I'd give it a 7/10. Needs work but it was nice.

Thanx for your time man, its appreciated! what you have said seems to be the resounding oppinion on the mix. The Mc'in over vocal is mostly my bad, something im trying to correct, the mumbling tho is a problem for us, two mc's with different volumes of voice on one mic, we playd with two mic's set at diff volumes but it got cofused and sounded poorer than before!! in two minds what to do about it.
When you say transition's what exactally do u meen, bring more variation to the mix with different styles choons or different styles of mixes(eg. shorter mixes and loger mixes)??

Its a good mix. Love the track selection. BUT GET RID OF THAT ****IN MC!!! DEAR GOD! SOme is okay, but that is ridiculous!
All you have to do is listen to the DJ, and do everything on the record that he plays...

I read in a book on the best way to approach MC's.

Just to add to that, if they give you crap, stop the music and show them you mean business. When the music is stopped, yell at the top your voice and order him the fizzuk off the stage. Ravers barely ever to go an event to see and event, unless of course, its a hiphop event. But then, I don't think you'd see ravers there.
You have every right to do what ever you like during your set. Including slapping stupid MC's.

Easy now, is that the case? Just slap em and tell em to **** off cuz er.. the ravers dont like em. The fact that thats your oppinion and the fact you have come to post on a topic asking for help to express your oppinion regarding MC's in general just shows how narrowminded your being.
I know in many cases the promoters are MC's, i dont think you would get very far with a promoter by slappin him or turnin his mic down.
To say that raver's dont like MC's or dont go to the event to see the MC's couldnt be more wrong, i know the rave's i have been to the ravers know the local MC's word for word e.g. MC Rude at Uproar or MC Natz at Diztruxion and even more so with Storm & Whizzkid at Slammin.
Fair enough if you could say "i dont like that", explain your oppinion and say "this is what you gota do to get better or sort it out" then cool i appriciate your oppinion but if ya just come for a bitch then on ya bike son.
