.................? Is this a news update or something?
Personally I think tracks have gone down hill this year not the production quality but originality. The top of the pile are walking a thin rope at the moment and need to start getting out some fresh sounds.

Couldnt have said it any better.
I agree in part. I am disappointed about the lack of new original tracks this year but I have really enjoyed all the events I have gone to this year and they do seem to be getting bigger and more frequent and I have enjoyed most of the CD's I have bought this year but not for the originality (except for hardcore tunez 3).
Just my 2 cents.
Kat

Ha maybe ;) I do believe that there are too many rmx's out though and also I think something needs to be done about sound systems as they have been a bit dodge at a few parties of late (back in the day....etc etc waffle waffle.)

Man same here.. i got told at the last Utopia i went to had a couple of speakers stuff up in the main arena and they also had to turn down the music in the hardcore room for god's sake because people at a local hotel were complaining bout the noise. AND IT WAS IN A LEGAL VENUE!!!

Theres a lot i like i lot i dont, think i'm catchin on a bit late but been right into hard freefrom last while is blowin my mind. Most the vocally hardcore doesnt interest me but there's still the exceptions like new joey riot stuff.
Makinas really pissin me off at minute amount of releases aint too many. The dj'in skills are most definitely there and the odd tune comin out is good but so much sounds the same. Still enjoy listenin to turntable masters but cant be arsed mixin it on 2 decks myself.
Think the futures harder beats for myself cos still plenty i like comin in that end, and dancevalleys also reminded me how gd trance is so gonna update that in near future.
Eventswise this years been quality lotsa small local nights have started up which i think is a tremendous thing. The london/essex scene at the minute is top notch to me everyones always jus wantin a good party and no bad attitudes between ravers.
Then theres raindance
Dam right i still love hardcore.

I think this year has seen the rise of Breakbeat Hardcore again, and hopefully it'll continue to get bigger
For me this is the only style that's sounding original at the moment.
