why do most commercial clubs close at 2am or 3am.
Whats with/What is last orders.

Why is the commercials scene so illogical, when the underground does'nt close till 6am, plays its music as loud as a Boeing 747, and hands out Happy-Pills, and has near 9 hour Booze licensing laws.
heres and Idea.
Lets make Highstreet CLubs have rave laws, then it will be better.
All you need is more money.

Most Raves stop serving Alcohol at 2am as well. Its to do with the licensing laws . These change next month to allow more freedom in opening hours

Last orders is the bar letting people know that they are about to stop serving alcohol, and get your last drinks while you can. After the bar shuts you have about 20 minutes "drinking up time" before you are obliged to leave.
All hail the lock ins!

In most clubs in Birkenhead (where I am ) they stop serving at 2:00, but stay open till 3:00.
Personally I think the longer opening times will be both good and bad. The last thing this country needs is more alcohol fulled people on the streets, but with different bars having different kick out times, there will be less "groups" of drunken idiots on the streets at the same time.
