...battle-of-the-djs SLIPMATT Vs DJ vibes
man!! - the sun was out, the doors were open and my friends just stuck this on and it got to like dj stompy - kiss your lips and I just laughed cause I though listen to what the buggers are missing out on the happyhardcore forum with all that NEW hardcore SHIT.
i don't wanna hear anyone say the old sound was crap, how can you say the new stuff is so good - go on, find this cd and put it on - unlike all the new cds coming out THIS one makes you SMILE!

No-one here cares what you listen to and no-one is trying to make you like the new stuff, but if you come here trying to convince everyone that the new stuff is shite then obviously there are people here who are going to argue!

no one here cares if you love the old stuff
I'm sure many of the older members would also enjoy many of the very same sets you so adore
personally, I can't listen to the same tracks forever. My attitude to "older" music is that its for visiting, not living in.
However, we do care about your slagging off of the new stuff
you say "no one's gonna stop me from liking the battle of the dj"
well, you arent going to stop me from loving the "NEW hardcore SHIT'. I happen to like it a lot.
love the music you like and keep an open mind. Stop trying to press your views on others.

There are four members of Ionosphere, three of them bloody fine DJs.
They were DJing this stuff at raves, producing and releasing it back in the day and still love it.
However, at the risk of repetition, we, or at least some of us, evolve.
The world of music isn't a contest.
Enjoy what you like and leave others to do the same FFS.

Why do you still insist on talking like nobody has ever heard 'old' Hardcore?

I own that CD and i think its pretty average to be fair, dont get me wrong i love the old skool as like the rest of us thats what got me into hardcore (blah blah blah you all know the rest). There are better old skool CD's out there that that, some of the old Slammin Vinyl cd's for instance.

95_was_the_time,
we all know by now that you love your old skool stuff and who can blame you? It's top notch hardcore!
Just don't slag off new hardcore, because alot of people respect old hardcore as much as they respect the new stuff.
