Come to think of it, all of the games I own and play on the PS2 are so graphically deficient, you could run the graphics alone on an SNES (Disgaea, IIDX 3rd - 9th Style, Katamari Demacy (although that's more N64)). When games have awesome gameplay, that's all that matters to me. As you can tell, I didn't even notice the lack of awesome graphics in the PS2 games I own.

PS3 all the way! I heard that if it's played on a high resolution TV, 9/10 people can't tell the difference from it's graphics to real life!
I might have to wait a while though, getting a moped in April, will have to wait till it comes down LOL
And it's about the gameplay, and how realistic it looks.

Specs are just that; specs. Getting a system for how well is can process graphics and how cool the games look is just about the as superficial as not buying a Bonkers CD because it looks "kiddy". Don't buy systems for their graphics, buy it for the gameplay. Then again, maybe I'm one of the only few who actually only play games for their gameplay not giving a shit about graphics.
All the games i play are released on the playstation, so im not just buying because i read the specs. I dont like playing games on the pc cause after a few months your system is too slow and wont play the newest games, when you buy a console your guaranteed the games will run on it. And its much better playing two player games on the big telly screen rather then the rather small monitor.

I 100% agree with you on that. I still stand by my statement that streets of rage and the original mario kart are the two best games EVER!
I'm not to keen on the ps3, for the plain and simple fact that the controller looks uncomfortable. Imo, the ps2 pad is the best pad for gaming (although the N64 one was excellent for 1st person shooters).

It's better playing with 16-64 players from over the country on a PC multiplayer game, sure it will have online capability, but lack of modifications and see how far people will get with a FPS on a joypad.

If your into fps and online gaming the pc is the best option. I play football games mainly, gta and racing games so the playstation does me fine.
