Dave I know exactly what ur on about with the rave scene, I distance myself from it, dont like being associated with the scene up here full stop, its embaressing!

Aye mate i quite like the fact that i dont get all these tunes shoved down my throat and jus listen to them wen i want cos there class, would hate to get bored of them.

agree with you mate mc'ins class forra bitta fun and at a rave but makina's designed to be played on 3 decks and theres far too much goin on for an mc to be any use. Still aint ever gonna happen over here cos only place makinas gettin played out is in north east (very occassionally glasgow) and they love the mc's up there.

I'm tired of makina in my country. There is makina only in Barcelona and I live so far.
UK Hardcore is better and more international. It's my personal style.

I only recommend you the 'Makina legend live at Pont Aeri'.
It's a cd recorded on 2005 with a lot of very good makina, hardtrance and oldskool songs. All the songs are of the 90's, normally called REMEMBER.
The Dj's who mix in the cds are:
Dj Skudero (resident of Pont Aeri)
Xavi Metralla (resident of Pont Aeri)
Dj Gollum (from EDM records :O)
Vicente Mafia (one of the most famous djs in the 90's in Valencia)
Ruben XXL (one of the most famouse djs in the 90's in Cataluña)
Ricardo F (one word... CHASIS, resident of one of the most important discos in the 90's)
The rest of CDs are very bad... with the worst makina made ever, the reason that the makina is die, it is not recommendable to buy them.

hate to be the one to tell you mate...but not everyone hates new makina...
and it certainly doesnt make a cd based on them bad.
remember is amazing...but new makina is still responsible for some amazing songs...
plus in comparison to some remember tunes.... the production values are rubbish...and have you ever thought of vocals for that boaring repetative track...no?...ok then.

Yes... the new "makina" has a lot of people who like it but I only try to teach the makina that move a thousand people on the 90's and I think that this music is better than the music that is made now in Spain.
For me don't exist the "vocal makina", this is dance. The real makina is the melodies and the "bases". And the "thing" that are made in this days bores me. :P
Well... Mc_Bone if you like "new makina" I recommend you:

Remember sets from p+b are my fav makina ever made tbh, remember sets from spain are so much better than the makina dj's from over here.
I like old and new makina but i do see what dabizz is saying because new stuff sounds nothin like old stuff really anymore cant really be called same thing.
But aye enjoy most of it but remember sets by the best is unbeatable to me anyway.

aye the real bouncy sound of makina is the oldies the new stuff sounds more like uk hardcore/german trance. But between 2001 - 2003 a lotta gd bouncy numbers were made aswell like on the cd's i brought up, and the new stuff still sounds gd on 3 decks.
