i recently installed a wireless connection into my computer, i can no longer access happy hardcore radio, msn will not connect, i can no longer download songs and a few other things will not work, is it just that i am very unlucky or is their a reason why these programs are no longer working correctly???

Sounds like your wireless router has a firewall on it.

I dont think its the firewall at all.
Its most likely a ports issue. I suggest you enable a NAT option if you have it.
Perhaps you might have to forward all relevant ports for the applications you wish to use. That sounds more like the issue to me.
Do you know what model wireless you have?

^^^ back in the day when there was no software firewalls on PC the firewall was the router...

Well back in my day, we used to make our own firewalls with twigs, sandbags and some pitch. 
Um nowadays though, firewalls are just itx PC's with linux of them. Though the Cisco pix series, as far as I know, use their propreitry IOS.

definitley try the ports take, thats what it sounds like to me. Alota the time stuff jsut isnt connected right.

def not the firewall coz ive turned it off, i dnt no wot u mean by the NAT option though so cud u explain??? thanx for all ya help

Cant help with your problem but I wouldn't suggest using the web with no firewall thats asking for trouble!
