i have lways been a fan of the prodigy but just cant think what style they come under they look incredibley freaky but do make great tracks please help

Id class a fair few of their tunes hardcore, but it is hard to say they have a unique sound.

It would depend on the age of the track as they have progressed from their rave origins

just tracks in generall i have had people say they are rock sort and other say d&b and even hard dance and hardcore but they are so distinctiv i havnt a clue

The Prodigy style is just The Prodigy, I don't think you can label them anything really.

You guys are over analyzing their genre they have breakish/techno/hardcorebreak type thing..they are basically "rave" sounds. I dunno thats how I could describe them in the best way without holding to oe type of genre. Not really into prodigy to begin with.

As said they have evoled so much, they are everything and they are nothing. You can tie them to one genre. They have thir own unique style and they take aspects from other genre and then put them in a blender. Bingo Prodigy's genre is blender :D

thank you all for all your opinions please keep them coming in i would say every body in the place is a type of dance music as it has been on a euphoria cd and so has smack my b**** up great song spit firebreathe rie starter poison is on another dance cd i think no good i know has been rmxd by a few people classic song

there old old stuff was more original warehouse style hardcore...(charley) then they moved into a more Big Beat Style (Funky Shit, SMBU) then they're latest album Girls sounded heavily influenced by Electro
