In the last few weeks my Yahoo bulk mail folder has been getting slammed with all kinds "Mail Delivery Failure" notifications. They all have some sort .zip file attachment. Of course I don't open the file, but I am curious now.
Has anyone else here been getting this crap?
What type of scam is this?

If i try to send emails at work to someone, with bigger attachments then the reseaver can reseave, or if i wrote the wrong address. I get that back with the original attachment and some other file. Plus text from whom to whom i was sending it, and why it couldnt deliver the email. So anyway, the spammers are writing identical emails to fool people thinking its an email they sent.

often means someone with your email address in their email prog has a virus.
The virus sends itself out to email addies on his/her computer addressed FROM people on his/her computer. When the TO field doesn't exist or the AV software recognises theres a virus and blocks it then it gets bounced back to the FROM email (yours). I get a few of these through every day but just mark them as spam
