Lets say i had ultra cash, and i was going to open a bar / club in blackpool (uk) that played strictly happy hardcore 24/7. how many people would come?
i just want your views. basically, clubs in blackpool wont play hardcore because its not commercial enough, no where that i know will play it. which means that there is a niche market for a hardcore bar / club.

Not many, it would have to have very strong scene to be able to have enough people come every day. Though if you played very commercial hardcore, it might work.
IMO you would be better of with that type of concept:
-Day time -> ambient (you know cyberish type of restaurant, would be so cool)
-Evening -> trance/house
-Night -> hardcore

nowhere except DNA that is Mr Raver ;-)
I would come..... but I wouldn't come every night of the week - I think you'd need to vary the style a bit to make it a success. For instance play hardcore, hard dance and old skool or something. variety is the spice of life ;-)
*edit* if your looking for any DJs who were local (eg St. Annes).... *coff coff, hint hint*

That's exactly true.
Scouse House is all people listen to up north.
I feel I'm the only Northener into Hardcore. :( :( :(

Thats just plain weird when i was livin in the south west no one was into hardcore but everyone i would speak to on tinternet or at big rave were always northern. I always had this idea in my head that the north of England was just full of Hardcore clubs. My bad obviously.

cheers for all the feed back so far obviously we would'nt play hardcore 24/7 and it would be more of a weekend pub/club maybe open thurs/fri/sat were just toying with the idea at the mo but more feed back would be very helpful
Yeah, i'd be well up for visiting a hardcore bar, i can't get enough of the hardcore stuff...
However think you'd have to be careful whether it was a bar or a club or somewhere in between? For example, what would your opening hours be - day and/or night, with a late licence or not? Would you want people to be up dancing, whistles and horns, or just chilling with a drink, a bifter and listening to some bangin' tunes....(my problem is as soon as i hear some beats i wanna drop as many as i can, get on stage and rave like a nutter, where-ever i am!!!)
It is true i've never really been to a harcore bar though, only clubs / raves / parties, so could be cool...
Keep flexin' bad-boy
