If you dont own this DVD already, you suck... no really, you do. I mean it was released over 24 hours ago forchristsake.
Now, if you dont want to suck anymore, or you just want to see the best movie ever made in human history, *edit* You would just have to buy the DVD :p heres your chance. The first at least 2 months old member (meaning you had to register in October 2005 or before that.) that posts a pic of her or himself wearing a browncoat of any type, gets a free copy.
About the movie, heres the trailer, heres the official site and heres the fansite. Theres the US movie poster ->

The DVD will be shipped through DVD Pacific, i can not be held responsible for any shipping damage. This offer is open this week only. Only the first person that posted a picture will get the DVD, there is no second place. The DVD will be the R1 US release.

As i hold the right to change the rules at any point i desire, and Underloops ugly mug makes me weak on the knees. There will be, afterall, a second place. Thats right, in the name of Firefly, Serenity, Christmas and all other things holy, there is a second place after all.

I kept meaning to get Firefly on dvd as someone recommended, I was going to get it up town today, but nowhere seems to sell it anymore. I'll have to wait till after christmas now and buy it online.
Is it true that Fox cancelled it after the first season? I hate it when they do that, they did that was Tru Calling and cancelled it halfway through season 2. The bastards!!!

Best TV show and movie ever made right there :D I strongly suggest you to pick up the TV serie, its 23,99 pounds at play.com. If you like it, you can pick up the movie too, as its released in february in UK ;)

Nah seriously, a few weeks back I slipped on a spot of ice and broke my wrist. managed to get it in 3 places heh.... no more mixing for me over Christmas.
Its ok though coz I checked and the doc says I will be able to violin just as soon as the cast comes off...... which rocks because I couldn't before! *taxi!*

14, though the original pilot lasts twice as long (was divided to part 1 and 2 when it was aired), so some count it as 15.

Finally got Firefly on dvd yesterday, I've watched the pilot and the 2nd episode. It's very good, I like it a lot.
You maybe interested to know that the Chinesepod podcast is planning a series of episodes/lessons covering some of the spoken Mandarin that is featured in the film and series.
