You do get moshes at raves, more of a free party thing though. Punks good yeah, especially stuff on a ska tip.

Yea, punk (mainly ska) was the only other genre i used to listen to other than hardcore.

yeah i love the ska punk........i know its a bit of a common thing to say but the sex pistols album-never mind the bollox is never away from my cd player i fkin love it.
when i was at skool the wave of punk pop caught me big time i ***** love it still now blink 182 kicked ass.......there more darker nowadays but still fantastic.....i have every album they brought out apart from dude ranch.

A few of my favurites are Pennywise, Vodoo Glow Skulls, The Toy Dolls (nelly the elphant cover :)) and... Less Than Jake  . The Sex Pistols are legends!

i really like the racist punk on tht australian film romper stomper.......the ***** energy in those songs is unbelievable although i hate the fact there singing about a 4th reicht and beating chinese people up.
really good rythms n beats to those songs tho

i think the basics of 'moshing' are going sick, screaming out noise and jumping on people's head's. If you can master that then you basically got the idea

moshing at hardcore (like some one said at the top) is a free parties thing, would love to mosh but not with a smelly white-dreadlocky handknitedjumper type ppl with big boots to kick your face in. I know some one who came back from one of these free parties (around london) came back a little beaten
