Still looking for decent films.

Forgot to mention Hellraiser. Fookin class series!! Only discovered the other day that there's 8 of them. Only thought there were 4 or 5.

Wishmaster is pretty sweet aswell, think i just like the totally random crazy deaths.

Maybe I overacted a bit but I really hate that on DVDs. Anyway I was wondering if I missed anything good?

bought it not so long ago... it's alright, but definately doesn't live up to what it says on the cover - "The most savage and brutal film you could ever want to see" or whatever. Its still pretty grim tho

- So what anime can people recommend?
- Never seen Bladerunner, what's it all about?
- Same with 2001: A space odyssey.
- And the day the earth stood still.
- Any other films??

I could post a huge list or all my favourites etc, but instead ill just say Full Metal Panic. In my opinion a very good serie, but also should be very good for people just getting into Anime. Its a scifi/action/comedy -thingy.

Probably the best place to get it is DVD Pacific. I buy all my anime and other R1 DVD's from there :)

I need region 2!

Any ideas where i can get it for much cheapness??

I can't be arsed with buying only a few episodes too... i want a big bulk of em, from the beginning. Need to know what im buying.

*edit* Just found that you buy each volume seperately on the HMV website for £6.99. Maybe it would be a good option to buy volume 1 from there, just incase i don't like it?

So that would make the price for the entire show about 50£, where as from the site i sayd its about 30£. If you have a DVD player that can be coded region free, thatd be cheaper. Also it gives you a lot more buying options when you have a region free player :)

Anyway, as for your question, i used to buy single DVD's only. Its all good, and has much less risk, since you only buy 1 DVD at a time. But i prefer now myself to get the whole seasons, and watch a serie in few day timeline :)

I haven't got a DVD player that works anymore - using my 360 at the moment to play DVD's, so i can't hack it or out to get it region free.

Bladerunner, Legend, 2001: A Space Odyssey and The Day the Earth Stood Still all look phat - and im going to go on an adventure at some point to see if i can get hold of em. I'll give ya me opinion once i've tanned em

Just been to Music Zone now and bought:

Hellraiser 1 - 3
Freddy Vs Jason (aint seen it yet)
The Crow
2001: A space odyssey (ill give those that have recommended it my verdict when i've tanned it)

I saw The Day the Earth Stood Still... didn't realise it was Black n White, so i'll give that one a pass for now.

They didn't have any full metal panic, and i didn't have time to go to HMV, but i will do at some point

They didn't have bladerunner either. gay.
