I think, like people have said already, that people dont care about the sex or anything, when you listen to hardcore, you dont care what the dj looks like, (or at least i dont.)
I dont think sex is commercialised in the techno industry, (much) Because everyone is doing what they want to do. theyre not being forced to do it, everyone likes some sex, (its only natural) but its not a big deal because everyone is just being themselves..
thats my theory anyway

I'm sorry but I fail to see how a gatecrasher cd can be mistaken for hardcore!!! Obviously the are similarities but I mean it's still a pretty damn clear line IMO. Surely the BPM alone would give it away? What are they teaching these kids in school nowadays? Anyway... enough of my moaning.
In the past it has always been the music and the parties that have bought people to hardcore, people listen to hardcore because they like it and because they want to. You can clearly see that this is starting to change, people listening because it's currently "cool" so you get the odd "sex to sell" cd cover like the xtreme hardcore ones but it may just be a passing phase. As for videos... how good would a couple of tarts grinding in stilettos really look at 170+ BPM?

haha whatever - i have seen breeze and styles on there once last year
the girls on these front covers look like the untouchable type would prefer some filty northern chicks on there personally, as for hardcore covers dont want them having gurlz on the front prefer the usual 8 men dressed in leather

yeah seriously where can i see those videos especially the charlie lownoise stuff. I've got the scooter dvd which has some great vids on it but i want to see some proper hardcore vids.
