Hey everyone!

I was working for the last month on my mastering, my melodies, my beats, my kicks, my vocals ( ) my drumNbass stuff and this is what came out.

My end goal is to give you the creeps with emotional melodies, and I think I already close to do that.

Enough talk, let happy hardcore speak... CorDharel Happy hardcore

http://cordharel.bachi.net/sound/CorDharel-Kramberry.mp3

I hope you like it.

What do you use to sequence??

When making a track try and make your kick the back Bone of the Track.Everything is over powering the kick.
You have a few nice little melodies there, The Vox needs work.

Try and give your tune some direction;)

Maybe start by making a riff and working your way around the riff, so You know where you have to go if ya get me.

All The Best
Gary

Its better than your last tune :)

lots of random mellodys...

some good some bad...

vocals.. well werent needed i think.. u dont have to have them all the time :)
swearing just doesent belong in music IMO

maybe take the best mellody(or 2/3 of them) from this tune and focus on them :)
there are elements that if u dumped the rest.. and used other bits more... this could be a great tune!

less is more sometimes ;)

It is better than your last one. :)

Gary and SERA are extremely good at writing melodies so you would be wise to take notice of their advise mate.

eg;

Gary - http://homepage.eircom.net/~hillstreetm/A97.mp3

SERA - http://www.xtarsia.com/music/XtarsiA%20Ft.%20Lynny%20-%20Morning%20Light.mp3

and I have also told you this before, sometimes, less is more.

Bah I already changed the track from many melodies to ~8 that I have to have cause my brain is unchallenged.

Swearing doesnt belong in music? WTF the world is not always love peace and happiness, have u ever heard deathmetal and this stuff, they just swear. This is a lovestory about a guy telling his girl she should get out of his life cause she ruined it.

Ionosphere the quality of the tracks is super but, for example, the Gary track is so freaking boring i almost fell asleep while listening to it. Always the same notes.

I know why I stopped listening to trance and started with happy hardcore. I need fast tracks, with many changes in em.

GaryMaguireXL I use Propellerheads Reason 3.

I also dont have a problem with the kick. I think its exactly loud enough. I even changed my style from simple standard kicks/snares/drums to specialiced ones.

Of course they werent needed. But I did them, cause they are a part of my Kramberry track.

Probably I should start making tracks with the same melodies over and over again for 2-4 minutes, cause it seems like people like that...

If you enjoy the tracks that you make that's cool but asking for feedback and then resenting and ignoring it is pointless.

It's good to try different stuff, we do, just don't expect others to like it.

:)

Hmm when you say "less is more sometimes" "the kick is the backbone of a track" I bet you will like this track:

http://cordharel.bachi.net/sound/CorDharel-ThomyShit.mp3

Is this what you meant?

I really like the intro, the breaks are excellent.

The Vocals are weird, but I like them.

I don't like the direction it goes in though. It might make a really, really good dark dnb track or gabber track.

It seems split between a really happy song and a really dark, pounding song.

Try making two songs out of this. One happy, and one maybe dark and gabber. And maybe some dnb from you CorDharel?

The second half of the song seems to go downhill. The synths seem to happy or something.

And your chords are so dark it crashes with the melodies. Keep going, because you have some really great elements in it.

Nice breakbeat intro again. That is a great old school beat. To be honest, this sounds a little like Luna C, or maybe I want it too. Perhaps he could do a remix? ;P

This works better than Kramberry. Maybe you were kramming too much in Kramberry?

I like you breakbeat sounds the best, so try making a song with just breakbeat....

sorry mate, first thing you need to ask yourself is would people buy it, And I wouldn't and thats been honest

I dont usually produce trance thought i would try something different.

You dont like the track thats bang on its your opinoin, but dont ask for opinions if you cant handle the feedback.

That tune IMO<----- needs alot of work.

The kick aint the back bone on that Track.Play it on a big system see what it sounds like.

Your really starting to get the "professional" sounding stuff down. I mean this in the following ways:

1) your crappy synths are being arranged now so that they actually sound pretty damn good! :D

2) your headed in the right direction for what you wanted

Now, you've gotta realise, when people said in this track that the synths are overpowering, they're right: its too overpowering for DANCE music. This is more like Hardcore Ambience :D I loved a lot of the individual parts of it :P

However, compositionally, it could use some work. Some parts didn't fit together in terms of mood.

THREE CHEERS FOR PROGRESS!

You should always listen to what people say as it's one of the best ways to progress, you shouldn't throw it out just because you don't agree.

I really do agree with whats been said, some very good ideas in there and you need to pick out the best and try working with them bits a bit more. For example instead of just changing the melody completely why not just alter the one that's already playing giving it a bit of variety but without killing the flow of the track or throw in some effects & alter your percussion (in a way that wont sound random) to keep the track interesting.

The kick is definitely being overpowered which is definitely a bad thing for 2 reasons 1. It is one of the driving points for a track and 2. It makes the overall mixdown sound muddy.

I'm sure if you keep working at it you'll be able to get a balanced track that you can still enjoy without these problems in it. Anyway good work mate keep it up.

Gary mate i think that trance track is spot on, definitely something i'd enjoy hearing out.

Cordarphel your getting better but tbh i've not liked any of your stuff too much, jus sounds strange but keep it up cos is definitely improving. I like fun hardcore so with a lotta work i think you could be alrite.

This time the vocals didnt piss me off which is a first i think, nicer with them being a bit more discreet and dark sounding in the background. Your tune just lacks a few things and doesnt really go anywhere if you get what i mean.

Off topic do any of you remember the cordarphel vs schwedish boi battles on here

i've still got one of schwedish boi's tracks downloaded somewhere it's hilarious, got took down after about 15 mins cos it basically took the piss out everyone on here but it really makes me laff. well produced aswell i have to say.

Uhm... just cause I said my opinion about the first 2-3 feedbacks and forgot the sentence "But thanks for the feedback. I will think about it for my next track" doesnt mean I just throw it away.

I am really happy you gave me that feedback. I understand what you mean. I listen to the second track I posted, this one is not that loaded like kramberry. I also will try to change the existing melodies in the next track instead of changing them completly.

Oh and btw: The second track is NO remix. Its 100% self made
