http://www.phuturerave.com/view.php?pID=3225 exlaxl is one of my fav ever tracks, you probably wont like it if all you listen to is uk wankcore but it's got melody and pounding beats.

If you like sped up scouse house fair enough but i like my hardcore to actually be hard so i can bounce to it, not wave hands around like a fanny to chart dance with a kick.

Everyone from Holland seems to believe that, but there's really not that much truth to it...

im gonna watch that again it had me in stitches earlier

agree with jenks though the english scene had little influence from gabber until a few years ago when it went 4/4 like the bouncy techno, before that was nearly all breaks so it doesnt come from gabber at all there seperate scenes.

scotlands a different story with gabber been a big influence from the early days. Shows with the music that gets played at raves, theres defo exceptions to the rule but folk tend to prefer softer hardcore down south i've found.

Ow my god
This is just great, but I'm wondering if you guys even understand the dutch that you hear lol!
I've watch that whole video! It's awsome, the history of hardcore (of neophyte/Bodylotion).

Okay I well agree, that Dutch hardcore probebly didn't effect that much, more over I'm true enough of a gabber to KNOW that OUR HAPPY HARDCORE SCENE actually CAME from UK... so, maybe we just influenced eachother over time...
And we always had many UK style Hardcore like early breakbeats in our oldskool scene.
So in my eyes we are connected on some level...
But that again, maybe it's just my opinion
