aye you never explained that to me whats aspergers syndrome i've never heard of it before?
If you dont want to go raving mate thats your choice, just the views you make a lot about all hardcore being a certain way, you'd realise wasnt the case if you went out to events.

US one's are fun in a sense but nothing like I think they should be, a totaly diffrent vibe on all accounts

i sometimes do mate and it is strange, almost like a voice inside your head tellin you to calm down forra while. Is a good thing though for me anyway keeps the balance right
Same whenever i've went clubbing and had too much to drink, say i hate it and never again but then its someones birthday or stag do you end up doing it again.
hahaha i'll learn one day

Beh, quit complainin! At least you got hardcore raves and the big djs over in the UK. In the US we rarely ever get any big names, and uk hardcore is scarce (around NYC anyway). Only djs that really play hardcore here in the NE US are Candykid, Pinky & the Brain, and Brak (all of which who are super awesome by the way) along with AC Slater and Sunrize, but they usually just play in Philly. Main problem anyway is everyones view of UK Hardcore in the US, most ravers consider it the "chipmunk crap" from the old days (though I love all the sounds throughout hardcore's evolution). Still whenever the above mentioned play the room (side room usually unfortunately, though Candykid gets mainroom spots sometimes, and rocks it) everyone goes nuts and loves it, and a lot of times are the best sets of the party. Anyway, that's just what I have to say :)

I say...**** all! Ignore all the kiddies you don't like; you love the music, so go to the damn raves and stomp till you drop >
As for the Uk Hardcore sounds in New York, well put Tklown. Still the raves in NY aren't as massive as the ones in the U.K. and if there are any good ones that come around, they're atleast an 1hour+ away from 'the city that never sleeps' god damn it! By the way, Tklown - you going to Relief? Looks good > Lenny Dee and Bam Bam! wooot! eurgh, it's in NJ. But I am going to Laugh Out Loud. ^^BUMP!

I have downloaded stuff from DJ Spree's website (He's from the states) and has promoted a rave sceane there along with UK born MC ADB. You can download free stuff, studio mixes and raves from their site! It sounds the same as the UK stuff though, old skool and new

u know... its all ok ppl blastin out 'gotta go to a rave cd just dont compare.
it depends who you are.
95% of raves, when i do go, just dont do anything for me.
and like smoogie said, i too just listen to my cd's/mp3's
i like the music and thats all i like about hardcore really, the music, so for me, going to a rave, just isnt really my thing.
and im happy about it :)
maybe waffleing on about chavs and such isnt the best thing to post...
but, i feel easily intimidated sometimes by ppl. even if they mean no harm.
and i dont think smoogie exactly had a go at the whole rave thing.. just his area.
i think its just more of an insight into the character that is smoogie

Only places with a pretty healthy hardcore scene are California and Washington, as far as I've seen. Spree and MC ADB have some good mixes, they're from Minnesota I believe. I know they've done some good events around there before, don't see them too regularly though
