Hiya, iv got a chance to dj at a gig called "heaven" some big djs play there including dj obsessions (martin langer , if your into funky house) i need some advice because this is my first gig and i'm only 15
any advice appreciated

yeah, plan ahead real good, don't be intimidated by the crowd and don't take requests (since you're still just starting)
AND NO BOOZING BEFORE YOUR SET!!!!

id suggest one pint to settle the nerves! plan your first choon and the one you will mix into from it, and most of all, use your nerves to your advantage dont let them get the better of you
another thing, try and get some practise in so you can get used to the sound system, and find out where you will be playing in the line up so you know what you can play

and dont throw poop at the crowd they tend to not like that - which just strengthens my first point

just plan focus take it slow for first two tunes then build it up then ****ing bounce them off the walls good luck dude let me know how you did

play the tracks you wanna hear( i love to see a dj spin what they're feelin and you can tell what tracks the dj gets down on).

Wow man i would LOVE to do a gig....if only i was a DJ or MC lol best of luck aye i find djs go off when they get into their music and the crowd and be confident

play it by hear man, read the crowd, know your tunes inside out! dont trainwreck, dont try any fancy tricks that your not confident with, play tunes u love and most importantly ... have fun :)
