This will probably be a useless post but is anyone familiar with the program called 'r'. Its a free program used for statistics and other forms of maths, and I need help because I'm using it for a summative assignment (counts towards end of year mark) for Uni. Because it is a command-prompt program (like DOS), it keeps giving me errors like "Error in hist.default(stats) : 'x' must be numeric" when I type commands in, that SHOULD work.

Never even heard of R. I use Matlab loads which is command based and I know my maths.
Care to post some of the commands that aren't working? Could be an error in your maths.... or at least your notation (missed brackets or something)
