dont u just hate it when u get capped!!! lol i got capped on the 18th and i had to wait 12 days for a refill!! OMG 12 days on dial-up speed grrrrrr.. couldnt touch the forums for a bit and i had to wait so i could d/l samus's new mixes LOL

I live in suburbia with no power lines running overhead so i cant get cable i am stuck with shitty adsl and getting capped after 10gb!! Bet your situation doesnt seem so crappy now :p

yeah... where they slow ur computer down when u download over a certain amount... saves on the excess fees...

yeah cant wait for that!!means i have to break contract but....$500 but it will be worth it i think, i have two adsl connections in my house so when i use up all the bandwidth in one i use the other lol

Tiscali capped my connection for no reason atall. I was ment to be on 2.3Mb/s unlimited service, but I was running at 512kb/s for ages.
Leason I learnt...don't bother trying to get customer service out of tiscali...blood out of a stone would be more likely.

u mean when they slow down ur d/l speed. usually to dial-up speed.
i heard cable is heaps cheap in america and japan. is this true?

In alot of cases they are ahead of us technologically speaking and also their services would be spread almost countrywide and as with Australia u find cable is only in metripolitan areas and the stuff
