That looks really cool.
The PS2 was like $300 when it came out. Not too bad.
I don't really play console games anymore. It's all about the PC baby. I've been addicted to Battlefield 2 for a while now.

While the graphics look impressive, none of those clips got me excited for this system at all. And at the price of a brand new PC, I doubt I'll be getting this in the first two years. I'll be holding off until they release a IIDX or Kingdom Hearts for it.

You cant get a PC for 400-500€ that can play properly even games from the last few years, yet alone new ones. You would have to pay at least 1000€ to get a decent PC. Best graphics cards alone would cost 500€, 200€ is the minimum id have to pay for a proper graphics card to a PC.
I bought a DVD player when PS2 came out, which cost me about 400€. Decent BD-players will be about the same when PS3 comes out, i would assume. So its not really that expensive for a start price at all.

What exactly did Sony or Microsoft steal? Using the same idea maby, but thats just fine, or do you think Sony and Philips should be the only ones to be allowed to use CD's? Or that the only computers should be Apple computers?

Sony were working with Nintendo back in the days of the SNES to help them create a new console that uses CD's.
Arguements rose and Sony ended up ****ing Nintendo off and released the playstation on their tods.

Haha, Don't think the xbox will be going anywhere...Games are a bit expensive though.
Have you seen clips of Project Gotham Racing 3? and It's one of the first games on it...amazing and very very addictive!!
And playing the Xbox 360 with the wireless control pad is pure quality, be proper lazy as you can also turn the XBOX on and off using it...

almost everything you can think of in the gaming world was invented by nintendo... its not the fact that they have robed it lol... its the fact that they have never really put anything back in it themselfs... they just wait around on nitendo... use the same idea and make money from it... only cuse nintendo was on to something lol....
i.e. since the rev is ment to be "rev" lol
they are holding back in promoting there ideas :D
as for CD's... I'm sure there was other stuff like personal computers for eample that were using them way before...
also... I'm pretty sure it was nintendo that blew sony off... as for the idea of CD's nintendo didn't like the idea of there games being easyerly pirated so they told sony to kiss there ass!!!!
sony ****ed off and made there own consle... fair play... but nothing was diffrent with it was there lol...
so nintendo brote out a 64bit one instead :D AND INVENTED SOME MORE STUFF!!! like anolog and rubble! witch pissed all over the ps1... the only reason it kept up was cuse of the fagits that fort "FMV" movies were real grafix lol... nice little trick there sony ;)
then few months down the line they incupreded the rubble and anolog into there consle lol
as for sony themselfs... i respect them and don't get me wrong i love the ps (not as much as nintendo tho)
i ent like givng out digs here I'm just explaining the fact of how nintendo gets slaged off to no end these days yet never gets any credit for the others... end of the day... there wouldn't be no gaming indersty if it was for good old nintendo :D

Sony invented CD's with Philips. Of course they used a lot of technology that were invented by others, so not all credit is for them.
As for slagging of Nintendo, i have seen many doing that. Personally i have nothing against Nintendo, and i know the whole gaming scene wouldnt be even nearly as big if it wasnt for Nintendo. I'm just saying that Sony isnt the big devil either :p Anyway, i'm looking forward to revolutions release. Though one thing it never has had, is a good fighting game (e.g. PS -> Tekken, Xbox -> Dead or Alive) :(
