What exactly do you mean? There has been a lack of "oldskool" tunes since the music progressed like 12-13 years ago... I've noticed a few labels releasing stuff lately in that style though, Hardcore will never die, Warehouse wax, Hardcore projects etc. So if anything I'd say it's in its biggest revival yet TBH...
If you just mean that there is not enough oldskool cd's being released then yeah I sort of agree but at the same time I don't need yet another Oldskool anthem cd... Give me some stuff I don't have already.

Yes bulby_g can you list some labels for me if possible please. In the style of oldskool / breaks. I got a few represses on KFA the other day they were excellent and ordered 2 vinyls of mert wax which had some sweet tracks on. I just lack knowledge of where to find
Cheers Matey

Check the labels in this link https://www.choicerecords.co.uk/tech/thecart.asp?go=A&ac=ls&SID=9&pge=1&psz=50&src=db&artist=&title= Some of them are the faster newskool breakbeat sound but there is some decent oldskool sounding stuff there too :) Also look out for stuff from the labels listed in my first post.

Sure times but change but it dosn't mean Hardcore has too. I'm aleways for more old skool stuff, less Raverbaby and more Hardcore I say!
You get some old skool stuff coming out but there is far too little of it when everyone wants to here more of it!

Hello me old Dandelion fluffly monkeys :-)
1994 and 1995 was and is the best year for HAPPY HARDCORE/BOUNCY TECHNO and no year since has come close!
1996 to 1999 was a complete CHEESE fest and 2000+...well what can I say? Only just better!
Force and Styles killed the scene for me (BOO HOO!)
Tell me a tune after 1995 that comes close to these tunes...
1. Sense of Summer - On Top - Universal 001
2. Happy Rollers - '95 Style - Universal 003
3. Billy Bunter & JDS - Let it Lift You - Just Another Label 010
4. Diss Reaction - Jieehaaa! - Ruffneck 024
5. Scott Brown - Now is the Time - Evolution 015
Their are sooooo many!!!!!!!!!!

Hixxy and Sharkey- Wanthing to Get High (Smoogie's Awake)
Hixxy and Lady Trixxy- Attitude
Got a feeling- Demo
U R everything- Helix
A- ha-ha- Hixxy
There are loads more but these are from 96/97. Also the Hixxy remixes of Sense of Summer- On Top are great. You don't like Force and Styles? They were part of Sense of Summer!

That might be so me old mucker but Force & Styles made tunes like...
Heart of Gold, Wonderland, Shining Down, Field of Dreams, Pretty Green eyes and many other piles of shite!
Obviously they made some good tunes too... "All you Bastards" and "Down to Love" and "All over the World" for example.
Granted "Attitude" (Essential Platinum 009) is a pretty good tune but it don't compare with what I have listed! As for "Wanting to get High"! Oh no no no
Hey, only my opinion
