I agree, usually when a moderator gets "too much" trouble from a certain user, we report to silver that normal ways just dont cut it with the user, usually then silver gives a final warning, deletes the account or bans the user. This has worked well, but in same cases such as this, when its very clear the user is using this site just to annoy and provocate people, spam and other crap. And has no other intrest to the site, then giving all the warnings is just "waisting time". But who desides whos a troll and whos not? e.g. when Da Cunney Bugz joined i was 90% sure he was a troll.

That doesnt always help.

(saves on loading time for ppl i would assume..)

Word sensoring doesnt help at all, it can be bypassed easily plus if we start sensoring words like fisting, then whats next? e.g. Clubbing, DP and ATM should be sensored too then.

I dont think the img tag's should be removed either, since 99.9% of the times its not used to post crap. It would just annoy the users that do follow the rules.

I have requested some new mod tools from silver in the past, but the truth is, theres just loads of other stuff he needs to do, and these arent really tools that would be used even monthly, so theres lots of more important stuff he needs to do. Also i wouldnt give the mods ban ability, hehe.

As far as current methods go, like Underloop sayd PMing a mod is the fastest thing to do, by clicking on the "Total Online" button on top of the page you can quickly check if any mods are around, if theres no mods online then just PM Underloop, silver or me.

regarding baptists post!
I cant believe anyone would be so sick to post something so horrible like that!
Having been a victim myself and no not wearing a (short skirt) either, i cant believe some one thought it would be funny to post some thing like that. They need to be barred from ever being able to sign up on here again its just shocking!

I thought it was great that Silver put that Ardc0res location on the other locked post, because he hails from Warrington, which is the neighbouring roval town of mine, Widnes, so it gives me even more of an excuse to hate him

How accurate can you get someones address from their IP address? Can the mods actually find the exact location of the computer responsible for sending a post, or just the city (stupid question maybe but I'm just curious)

As mentioned before, Silver and the mods probably have enough work as it is, so the only thing is just to ignore it and wait til they get bored, cos they always do. I don't think the mods have to apologise for the work of absolute c**ts with no lives

They have worked out the very computer is used as theyfound out that 'Randy Random' (no longer in use) came from the same computer. They have worked out the computers I use from the college which is also were Randy Random seemed to come from.

They know alot so it is not easy to mess them around.

big brother is watching you

yeah i mean on my firewall i can find out the country and city/town for any i.p address probing my ports (sounds dirty that). i havent really experimented, im guessing if you own a server and someone posts on that servers forum you can gain a fair amount of info from them.

not really... its all done trow there internet host...

having an i.p. adress tho wouldn't stop a hacker lol
but in terms of finding an address thats stupid lol

the way you do this is simply by contacting internet service providers and asking about the i.p. adress... if they find a match you get the adress off them after shoving them proth of an offence... and then there you go... ready to bust his ass!

its how them so called "internet police" bust people... they bid speacil trojons into certain iilegal sites (child porn for eample) and then when the pitures download and save as cookies... so is the trojan... this acts as a server that they can connect to aswell as get your i.p. addres... not only that the trojan can report back every little thing you do on your computer... then with a little reserach from web host's they find your adress... and storm your computer...

You'll also find that alot of stuff thats been deleated off your computer... ENT DELEATED!!! somewhere theres a log of EVERYTHING you have ever had on your computer... and the police know how to access this... tis all true :) scary shit

Not very, if it's a static IP then yes. They can contact your SP and they may give out the info. If it's dynamic IP or the user is behind a Proxy, then the chances are slim to nothing as far as I know.

If we are talking about serious violations, we can get the name, address etc behind the IP, dynamic or not. Well asuming the user is from a country that has internet laws that is.

Its true. Even with dynamic IPs all thats needed is the IP and the time, and most ISPs are more than helpful. If they won't give out names, addresses etc then they will usually deal with the situation themselves.

ISPs tend to take the distribution of porn to minors (this site is heavily frequented by kids under 16) very seriously...... especially when they are using their bandwidth for it.

Mortis: you wish!
