For starters, if that is your gripe then I believe your case is with the government who make the laws rather than the police who have the task of upholding them (wether they agree witht hem or not!).
Secondly, those laws are there for a reason. Too many kids don't have respect for drugs/alcohol etc and wind up either damaging themselves because they haven't been responsible with their use of those substances (costing an under budgeted NHS yet more money) or they end up completely losing the plot and causing undue duress to other members of the public.
I am most certainly not against illegal raves/parties, BUT in the same vein I am also not against the police breaking those parties up as long as it is done peacefully and without un-necessary force (a case in mind from a party in America springs to mind where the police barge in with guns, helicopters etc). Its one of the gambles you take.
If your going to hold an illegal party or even go to one, you know what the law is wether you agree with it or not. You go under the understanding that it may get cancelled, its as simple as that.

think it depends on your experience with them there emmy, i could say a lot different.
A member of my family was found with a personal sized amount of cannabis so not exactly a big deal. When he wouldnt say where he got in from in front of him they chopped it into 4 bits and charged him with dealing.
Another time a friend of mine resisited arrest and had a bit of a struggle while being arrested, when he got to the station they pulled out a knife and said they'd found it on him.
He then had to plead guilty to crimes he hadnt done and served time at only 16 years old, is things like that make people hate them.
But as i said i've also had a lot of good experiences with them, i got wrongly accused of something before and the two officers dealing with it were excellent. They deal with people a lot and can tell liars a mile away, so suppose thats why they believed me.
Just with someone like smoogie and he's "parkstone posse" i can see why they'd get pissed off, dealing with real crooks all day then taking mouth from stupid kids is bound to piss you off.

We went to were the party was and who should be there to shut it down? Yes thats right- The Police! Everyone got moved on and my freinds got their beans and we ended up getting a lift back home.
Why must the police ruin beach partys? Shouldn't they be sorting out all the trouble in clubs such as glassing rather than a few people having fun? Now I know you lot think I don't go to raves as i'm a woss, but the partys I go to are 'Real' raves and not the kind of advents you would get in a night club.
Anyone else had a good party ruind by the enemy?

I read that. Sounds like your raves are good. I hope they go well as having reves in halls and on beaches sounds so much more exciting than in some stuffy night club.

Nope, I think he has a problem with the fact that your opinion is invalid. You can not judge something you have not experienced.

As I am from the same area I can vouch for having been to many a beach party and not getting busted by the police. However unlike Smoogie and his croonies we know what we should do. We got to areas away from residential areas and we inform the coastguard. The police cruise past and sometimes even stop and get out but we have never been told to move on!
If you act like an adult and respect the authoritities it can actually work in your favour!
