how is it that if i went jogging id be dead in 10 minutes, but at a rave you can be jumpin up and down like a mad man for 7 hours and you aint breathless???

any1 else ever get the feeling also when a rave is coming to an end and you thinking to urself 'no way could i do one of those again' but later that week you desperate get back there we're strange little people

I've never thought of that! Indeed, we are strange little people.

I can't walk up a flight of stairs without feeling out of breath and shiit, 6 laps run around the gym - DEADLY! But at raves, you could be stomping for hours and by the end of the night [like 4 in the morning] we reckon the event shouldn't be over just yet cause we can go on!

Hell, we're awesome! End of.

I blame it on the "zone".
you know, the kind of trance endused by a steady bassline, synthloops and laserlights. add rapid breathing to that, smokefilled air and you can be snapping out of it a few hours later asking yourself where those hours went :p

Most UK Raves I've been 2 - even D&B I wouldn't say were overrun by chavs - in fact I've never had any trouble at a rave.

Oh and losing hours @ a rave might be caused by all those chemicals in ur bloodstream

Dunno about yourself but a lot of peoples answer would be about 6 sweets and a gram of ching?

I'm bad for it myself, love jumpin about dancefloors all night. Aslong as i like the tunes i can keep goin.

Loadsa times in gabber rooms get the worst leg cramps, thing is cant stop stompin anyway so just gets worse.

And also the feeling of i could never do another rave, had that a bit ago after years of doin it solid. Taking a bit of time out sort some things out then see how i feel.

But aye i love them and hate them at the same time

Raves keep you going because you're absorping energies from the music, the vibe, and other ravers. I've noticed too, now that you mention it, I don't get sleepy at raves either.

Haha, yeh i know the types. They make me feel glad to be a part of the scene. When i come out of a rave and sometimes i feel like crap, these are the guys that put a smile on my face, and make me want to come back for more.

amen to the maccas ravers :D

i reckon its to do with the atmosphere and music that allows you to forget where you are, the time it is... and you just DANCE

When at a rave, you have music pumping and the atmosphere is usually good.
If you're just taking a leisurly jog, then you might not have the modiavation or anything to keep going.
When in a race though, the competitve spirt makes you go a lot faster than you could think you could go. Same with a rave.
