Before we're too far past the subject of the female driver, this one was always a great memory for me.
My sister, had been driving for about 6 months with her full license and about a year and a half learning.
she picked me up one day (which i feared, naturally) and drove us home. We had come up to a roundabout with three lanes, we need the second exit. my sister knew this, we'd done the journey enough times. yet she still went on to the inside of the roundabout and throw our car in front of 3 BUSES swerving past them to get our exit.
They start beeping so my sister does the sensible thing of course..........
she slams on the breaks stuck across two lanes holding up the entire main roundabout in central london. then sits there mouthing "I'm sorry!" to all the drivers.
I of course had my face hidden in my hands so as not to,
a) see myself be killed,
b) prevent anyone recognising me as being someone associated with such *ahem* skiling driving.
Sorry sis, but they had to be said.
