I'm 18, 19 on July 18, and I've been raving and listening to hardcore since last April. Before that I was a prog trance/house faithful, and I still like it but I like all forms of hardcore over it. I got my decks in October but since I was mostly too lazy to set them up in my dorm room I've only really been spinning since December. I haven't raved in months so I'm really looking forward to Sharkey & Energy being in town for Smile 8.

Wow, I'm surprised a lot of people here are so young. It's cool though, hhc appeals to older and younger crowds. I guess I'm like in the middle. I'll be 20 in June. I've been partying since high school and spinning hardcore for about a year and a half, buying records for quite a bit longer. Had to get the classics that were out before they went outta' print :)

20, 21 in June ... got into hardcore round '96, went to my first rave about the same time - mad experience that was. bunk 'rugs, dirty venue and it got shut down just after midnite. Went to my second around mid-late '00, going regular since then. Sorta kept track of the music all that time though
