So whos for and against them? My personal opinion is that they're a must for live hardcore but not so sure bout them being on cd and tape packs. Just makes it a little bit embarrasing drivin round with the window down and a buzzin tune playin then havin a mad guy chattin over it.

I really don't like them and would enjoy raves a hell of a lot more if there wasn't any... Yay for free raves/squat parties and 100% MC free oldskool rooms

I think they help drive hardcore. Dunno if any of u r into drugs when u rave but the mc's just keepin sayin how u feel. Im all for them. Just not on tape packs.

Not being funny but I don't need anyone to tell me how I'm feeling I already know.

Personally I think music drives itself and it doesn't need some tit chatting crap over the top of it :s. Completely takes away from the feeling of the tunes and you just can't get sucked in properly with all the interruptions.

Personally I would prefer MC's to never be allowed to touch a mic unless it's in a studio...

If it was meant to be there then it would have been recorded when making the track!

- - - - - -

"Put your hands in the air" - We would if we could hear the breakdown... SHUT UP!

"Blow your horns and whistles ravers" - No please don't, if I wanted to hear horns or whistles I'd of gone to a trainstation! Music for my ears only please!

"Where are you whistle crew?" - Well they're here, can't you see and hear them all blowing them, destryong perfectly good music like you??

"Can you feel the rush?" - Nope, just anger! STFU!

Grrrrr... lol

Obviously not all MC's are like that but you get the drift of why I don't particularly like them... Some are wicked though. It's just the bad ones that ruin it for the good ones.

....absolutely right.

If I wanted all that shit I'd go to a Barn Dance....

"We done got all the corn shucked. . . . We’re gonna have a regular old barn-dance"

"Partners to your places, like the horses to their traces,"

Whup that fiddle boy, whup that fiddle.
Swing that girl with the red dress on,
Lady Round the Lady, and the Gent Also,
Ladies Bow and the Gents Know How,
Lady Round the Lady and the Gent Round the Gent,
Swing Ma, Swing Pa, Swing that girl from Arkansas,
Cowboy Loop, Divide the Ring,
Let's do the Shoo-Fly Swing.

....NOT a Rave. FFS

Haha... whoop that fiddle (i'm pretty mashed btw)

I gotta agree with Bentbanana on this one... i like listenin to MC's at raves. Only if they're good un's tho like.

I remember listenin to Scotty B... didn't do anythin for me. But he's only a newbie at the time i think and i aint heard him since, maybe there's been ultra improvement.

Look, ha... i'm chattin shit....

C'MON ENGLAND!!!

Nice Nathan :D

Yea no mc's for me, they just seem to talk shit just as you get into the tune then you lose the feeling, then when it comes again... they do it again. Always at the good bits :) lol

what's wrong with barn parties? =P

there are a few decent mcs oot and aboot but overall most of them don't know when to shut up. they're usually not funny, annoying and peak the speakers levels making my ears hurt in all three categories =P
