What do you think of the way Scotts sound is going. Seems to be getting very acidy, sometimes techy and more of a serious sound in most of his latest produtions. Think I prefer his earlier more uplifting material which had more female vocalists and happier melodies. Guess he's just evolving his sound for the next era.

Innit i wouldnt call his new stuff dark anyway is jus party nu style, suppose could be seen as hard to people into uk cheese but compared to most hardcore it definitely isnt.
Some of his old gabber was savage i love it, recommend anyone to check out his work under the "Scott Brown's Annihilator" alias had a good couple tunes signed to Mokum.
Wouldnt say he needs to retire at all anyway, most stuff maybe isnt my thing now but at least it's got a bit of a kick to it and is VERY well produced and mixed down unlike a lot of the uk stuff.
Quality dj also

Wakey Wakey & Sanctified are ****ing tremendous, 2 of his finest to date imo Wakey Wakey has that makina type bass behind it like Code its a ****ing slammer and Sanctified has rushy euphoric piano's to die for, dark is good it makes him stand out from the likes of Gammer.., although both of them outstand each and everytime brown had a bad time but that time is gone and now he is creating major riffage once again!

His stuff from the 1993/1994 area was top stuff, as he was one of the first Uk producers who used the hard 'drum/kick' beat that made Hardcore ven more stomping! He has made many a good track over the years but al least we can call his 'Dark' stuff hard.

Scott Brown is one of the all time greats. His UK Hardcore is great and so is his Gabber.

The best thing about him, is that he can please everyone. He can do some UK hardcore, some happy hardcore and some gabber. So he's always done some hard beats along the years.
