Second question: Is there some kind of outfit for nowadays hardcore ravers in the UK? Images would be appreciated...

All of the places I've been to have just had a smart clubwear dresscode. That's usually jeans, a t-shirt/shirt and trainers. You can wear shoes as well but they're not the best things to wear if you're going to be dancing all night.

They weren't very strict though as you can see by this image. This was actually a hardhouse rave but the hardcore ones are usually similar.

Thanks for the link, djhixxy1

And for the fun of it; some links to some oldschool dutch happy hardcore clips.
The way the Party Animals dressed was a strict uniform for Dutch "gabbers"; almost everybody dressed like that.

Heartbeatz (twice) and You're Shining have both reached the top 20 in the last couple of years! and even though I prefer my Dutch and Italian hardcore more than the UK stuff, I always class all forms from all countries as HARDCORE only and nothing more! its the simplest thing to calll the music!

Yes I hate all that 50 cent crap and so do most of the ravers I know but I'm sure there are plenty ravers over here that do like the stuff.

I'll go to any hardcore parties inc. things like breakcore, speedcore as well as the various UK sub genres. I'll go to most other dance parties as well TBH psy trance, techno/acid techno, hard house/trance even a bit of dirty house etc it's good to get in a variety of sounds IMO.

There isn't really a dress code in the UK but most of the girls dress in "cyber gear" as well as some of the blokes, all of the other people just wear casual street clothes. "Cyber gear" was brought over from the UK hard house scene (this is where allot of the UK hardcore ravers went when hardcore dropped in popularity in the late 1990's) when UK hardcore started to grow in popularity again (around 2001).

Examples of cyber gear:
