i dont see the point in buying them as i dont have a cd player, and if i download them its easier to put them straight on to i-pod.

So why steal music by downloading it if you wouldn't walk into a shop and take it from the shelf and stick it in your pocket?
Just because you don't have a physical object in your hand (like a CD) when you're downloading, doesn't mean that you're not taking something that doesn't belong to you.
I've spent a lot of time and money on my music collection, and it annoys me greatly when people come along with the same sort of collection tucked away nicely on their PC without paying a penny for it.
I know i'm a grumpy old man, but all i see from young people these days is an 'i want everything handed to me on a plate' mentality - and i'll be damned if my kids are going to grow up like that!
There, (pointless) rant over.

right okay .....
but from another point of this ... if you look at charts more people actually download music then going out and buying them. since it is easyier and more convienant

Your spelling is the least of my worries love!
Yes, LEGAL downloads are cheap, quick and convenient - and the artist gets the money they're entitled to.
ILLEGAL downloads don't give anything back to the person who made the music - more likely, it's whoever owns the sites that reap the rewards. And i'm serious when i say that illegal downloading WILL put people out of business eventually.

seriously,
jessicah you are starting to really piss me off around these forums.
Please go away.....
and on a side note, BUY your goddamn music. It dosent matter about chart music or anything anyway, hardcore is a small genre and will die easily without support.
Dont kill it you emo.

Your telling people how you want to rip off a scene that they love, I'm sure that spelling is the last thing they are going to rip into you about!
Download charts are compiled from PAID download services, such as itunes, Kazaa (yes, it used to be illegal and free, now its legal and costs money) and in the case of Hardcore, IMODownload.com
I've already had to discuss this in another thread, but the Hardcore scene doesn't exactly generate a shed load of cash for those working in it. Yes, there is the exception, but now downloads are coming in, those figures have dropped. Downlopads WILL kill the scene (and many more scenes like it) if they carry on like this. When artists/engineers/labels/DJs can't afford to keep music as their sole profession they will turn back to office jobs, shop jobs etc etc. Yes, I'm sure they will continue to make music in their spare time (anybody who has been bitten by the bug will testify to that!) but all the talented artists will dissapear into a couple of releases a year tops - if the labels can afford to put them out that is! Hardcore is not the pop world where an artist can make a 5/6 figure sum (or even more!) of a single/album. Dance music is still pretty much an underground scene, and Hardcore in particular).
If you want to buy Hardcore compilations on download I suggest you check out iTunes and the such - I know I've just seen Hardcore Nation 3 on there, and probably the ones you were after will be on there.
