As for them spinning hardcore not really bothered as ive always listened to hardcore n still got a passion for the core and I still will for a very long time to come, not lettin them spoil the fun. As for the chavy youngens with there socks over the trackies, awww mate. Screw them it's not like there gonna get into a rave anyhow. 18 n overs those kids can go round to rankins house n watch the fool play a tune +20 pitch n stick a pella over the top n watch in astonishment at the amazingness of the worlds best dj, wow the beatmatching skills. Impressive. Those dj's (not really a name I would give them tho) will realise when they are gettin on a bit that they have wasted there time entertaining kids when they cud of been at raves instead listening to true DJ's, there loss :)

yeh i agree wif u der, there is just 2 many peeps for it to just die
hummmm!
hardcore won't die!
more like.... HARDCORE WILL JUST BE TURN INTO A JOKE!
people come and go in this scene... most people go off upfront hardcore within 2 years... why... CUSE ITS CRAP!!!
Unless you have any passion for all hardcore, and you dive in deep into the scene... then you most likly ent gonna stay long!
when i first got into hardcore! it was all "hixxy, brezze & styles, lick my ass hole ect ect"
but these days... man just take a browse of these forums to see how much i dispise ravebaby...
Witch is... to be fair... what makes this so called "hardcore scene" in the first place - the populer one anyways...
end of the day theres more to hardcore then just vocals and the same old syths!
Theres tons of diffrent styles, raves...
witch means... YOU COULD SAY THERE MORE THEN ONE HARDCORE SCENE!!!
in my opin... the hardcore scene that "most people" think about!!! is the raver baby one!!!
and that ^^^ IMO - is already dead!!! for the simple reason that its just dry and stale! and like i say... people come and go... theres not alot of passion from these so called "ravers" that "raverbaby" are brining into the scene with so called crap like clubland!
I stay clear of it all! its pick up and put down music IMO!
nothing I'm gonna be showing my grandchildren anyways
in my weelchair going "thats was my day... thats some hardcore shit"
haha that my opin anyways!

Wrong... you get 14 year olds walking round HTID, courcing trobble, thinking there bad with alcohol in there hand!
the future of raves - i hate to say it but... DRESSCODE!!!!
No hoddys or caps!
that will keep the ****ers out!
Before you know it... your gonna have a little part on HTID flyers saying... "no bad attuides" - IMO - that will just be clear evadence that hardcore is dead!!!
happy hardcore - MEANS HAPPY!!!!
attuide = NOT HAPPY!!! lol

I dont think hardcores been cool for atleast a decade now if it ever was in the first place, most people have saw it as a joke for years and dont care or pay any attention to it.

I dunno i think with a lot of people thats it they just grow out of ravin. Most the people i started ravin dont bother anymore cos there lifes changed, dont wanna be gettin pilled up in raves anymore. I dont blame them i dont go out as much anymore and cant see me ever been at raves most weekends again.
Not every ravers that bothered about the music, well they will obv enjoy it but people go out to get wrecked, see there mates etc. Also some people stop when they get responsibilities like there own place or have kids. Theres loadsa reasons why people come and go from raving.

Why get so stressed with it, a bunch of people like music you dont like.
Cant change it and isnt my thing at all but doesnt bother me that other people like it.

This is where i agree with you 100%. Theres a lot more to hardcore and theres all kindsa different sections to it.
Right nows a pretty good time ravin, it aint the early days but i missed that and am making the most of whats here.
If your into gabber the last whiles been amazing with loadsa good rooms at the big events plus specialised raves, Norths back next month. I prefer the older stuff but i cant go back in time so am making the most of what i have.
Always partys for good oldschool, i only really bother with raindance but theres always other events for it if you look.
And even at uk hardcore events theres some good sets goin about. A lot will have some freeform am not keen on it all but a Marc Smith or Sharkey sets always rockin.
I dont have money to collect it along with everything else but theres some decent new uk hardcore aswell, even though is 90+% pish to me.
I can enjoy Kurt, Joey Riot and TNC stuff bigtime, if i had cash i'd collect it aswell. Heard a couple heaven 7 tunes aswell all vocally style i'd normally hate but done really well and i thought were pretty cool.
I jus recommend do what i do and go to raves you no you'll enjoy, sometimes i come out the gabber room and laugh at some of the shit music gettin played downstairs and everyone lovin it, but at the end of the day there happy and so am i.
Always some shit gabber will get played aswell but when am wrecked and its blarin i can still enjoy it.

as i said earlier "most people" really dont care about hardcore or anythin about it, i doubt it ever crosses there mind except to laugh at it the odd time an advert comes on.

Hahahahahahaha dresscodes at a rave, f*ck that.
At the end of the day your gonna get a lotta madheads in an all night rave, but i dont think there that bad for trouble kickin off. And if it does just stand up for yourself, there is some dodgy raves in some areas but HTID aint bad or not the couple times i've been always been a wkd night.

Nah, Hardcore wont die. No matter what, there will always be SOMEONE who listens to it.
All you have to do is look at this forum, and the many others like it, to realize that the genre will be kept alive as long as people still care about it.
It'll pick up again. Everything moves in cycles; like a great beat.
:)

its not about the producers, or even the songs that much really... its about hardcpre being fast and bouncey and happy and FUN!
THAT is why hardcore will never die.
there will always be ppl who love to go hav fun and dance to some upbeat tunes, and like the feeling of being uplifted by great music.
hardcore may change, everything does.
but it WILL NOT DIE!

well no, its the chavs. the 14 yr old chavs with their blaring phones and chipmonk voices. i believe as soon as they are old enough, they will b the fresh nu talent and hardcore will turn into that.
of course, short hand it will b bad, but then it will push ppl out of the scene and out 2 other scenes, which in turn will inspire nu form of music and some will b brought back to the hardcore scene.
afterall, hasnt this already happened b4 (but just without the chavs)?

I fear you've blatently missed my point.
"Chavs" arn't a generation, they are mearly a social grouping. The future generation are the people who are born at the time of writing this text.
