Some DJs have better music when the MC is singing, like the rat pack's Lipmaster Mark, he inhances the music. With most hardcore, I just cut out the MC and listen to the tune but Lipmaster Mark is aces and he makes the coolest lines.
I got peace, deep in my soul
I got love making me whole
Won't you open up your eyes
And shine on me

Lyrics, like styles, and MC's...have their time and place. Too much can ruin a good track or set.

Lyrics Aren't everything, there is some amazing tunes that are lyric free. and some appauling songs with lyrics, and vice versa. Just Accept it, ( i found that Crap at first, but its one of them songs that grows on you) and You're Shining, ( i like the future shining version better i found that amazing, Heartbeatz aswell, and yeah, set you free going back to page 1), then there are some good tunes without lyrics, the Theme, Music Of the primes, then of course ther are countless other good lyricless songs, the two i've named above, i would class as sort of anthemic, dont know why, thats just something i say personally, its probably wrong aswell
MC'ing also can enhance a song, but only certain songs. of course its easy to generalize like this, but you cant exactly say that vocals make a song crap, or a lack of vocals make it crap, each song varies.
